Extender based on skimmed milk with addition of Pentoxifylline which inhibits phosphodiesterase by increasing APMc responsible for the control of ATP production.
Ideal for fresh insemination or cooled semen transport at 5 degrees C only. Use dilutions of 30-50 million/ml for cooled transport, respecting the minimum of 2 parts of extender to 1 part of semen.
In case of samples requiring centrifugation before cooled transport, resuspend the sperm also between 30 to 50 million/ml. Suitable for stallions with low spermatic vigor and reinforcement breeding.
100mg gentamicin and 100mg penicillin per 100ml.
